# source_revision_conflict

> source revision conflict (HTTP 409).

## When this happens

An updated representation reused an accepted or older source revision. Read the accepted record, reconcile the source ordering, and use a newer revision for a genuine change. An exact retry may retain its revision.

## What to do

Correct the source mapping or operation before resubmission. Do not retry an unchanged request. Include the request ID when contacting support, without credentials or personal payloads.
