# reconciliation_resolution_invalid

## When this happens

You asked to resolve a payment reconciliation that has no held difference, or you chose `matching_evidence` but matched receipt lines do not yet account for the full allocated amount of every held Receivable.

Nothing was changed. The held restriction, the preserved figures and every other Receivable are unaffected.

## What to do

Send the missing receipt lines in a new reconciliation so that matched amounts equal the allocated amounts, then resolve again with `matching_evidence`. If the Client authorized a correction in the Source, resolve with `authorized_correction` and its reference instead. Never resolve by choosing the latest balance.
