# receipt_delivery_owned_by_partner

> Receipt delivery is owned by the partner (HTTP 409).

## When this happens

You asked PayPathIQ to deliver a receipt on a connection whose declared receipt delivery owner is the partner. Each connection has exactly one delivery owner, so that two systems never post the same receipt.

Nothing was attempted or recorded.

## What to do

Deliver the receipts from your own system using the partner delivery operations. To have PayPathIQ deliver instead, ask the Client to change the declared delivery owner.
