# payment_policy_blocked

> Payment observation blocked (HTTP 409).

## When this happens

PayPathIQ's current Customer and Receivable policy does not allow this external Payment to be recorded, for example because the Receivable has no collection-lead Customer.

## What to do

Check that the Receivable's responsible Customers exist and are current. If the error persists, contact [help@paypathiq.com](mailto:help@paypathiq.com) with the `requestId`.
