# payment_not_confirmed

> Payment not confirmed (HTTP 409).

## When this happens

You sent accounting receipt lines for a hosted Payment request that has no provider-confirmed Payment, or whose confirmed Payment cannot be matched safely. Returning from the hosted page never confirms a Payment, and an open, in-progress or under-review request has no funds to acknowledge.

## What to do

Read the Payment request and wait until its `status` is `paid`, then send the receipt lines again with the same identities. If the status is `paid` and this error persists, contact [help@paypathiq.com](mailto:help@paypathiq.com) with the `requestId`.
