# invalid_change_cursor

## When this happens

The `cursor` was not issued by the change feed for this Integration and Client. It may have been altered, truncated, copied from another Client, or issued before the feed was reset.

## What to do

Send back only the unmodified `nextCursor` from a previous response. If you no longer have one, [resynchronize](/change-feed#resynchronize-after-an-expired-cursor) with `from=latest`.
