# customer_not_found

> Customer not found (HTTP 404).

## When this happens

No Customer exists at this URL for your Integration and Client. `GET` and `PATCH` need an existing Customer.

## What to do

Check the `externalCustomerId`, including its capitalization. Create the Customer with `PUT` before you patch it.
